1. Booking and Payment
1.1 A booking is confirmed upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit of £100.00 and written confirmation from Gannel Rest
1.2 The balance of the rental fee must be paid in full no later than 8 weeks before the arrival date.
1.3 If the balance is not received by the due date, the Owner reserves the right to cancel the booking and retain any deposit paid.
1.4 Bookings made within 8 weeks of arrival require full payment at the time of booking.
2. Security Deposit
2.1 We don’t look to take a security deposit. Guests will be deemed liable for any damage caused during their stay and we may look to recover costs appropriately.
3. Cancellation Policy
3.1 All cancellations must be made in writing.
3.2 Cancellation charges are as follows:
· 4 weeks before arrival: 40% of total booking cost.
· Less than 1 week before arrival: 100% of the booking cost unless we manage to let the caravan. In which case a refund will be issued up to 100% of the re-let price minus the original non-refundable deposit.
3.3 Guests are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance.
4. Occupancy
4.1 The number of guests occupying the property must not exceed the maximum occupancy stated in the booking confirmation.
4.2 Subletting, sharing or transferring the booking to another party is not permitted without prior written consent from Gannel Rest.
4.3 The Owner reserves the right to refuse entry or terminate the booking without refund if occupancy limits are exceeded.

5. Arrival and Departure
5.1 Check-in is from 16:00pm on the day of arrival.
5.2 Check-out is by 10:00am on the day of departure.
5.3 Early check-in or late check-out may only be available by prior agreement.
6. Guest Responsibilities
6.1 Guests agree to keep the property, furnishings and equipment in a clean and tidy condition.
6.2 Any damage, breakage or maintenance issue must be reported to the Owner as soon as possible.
6.3 Guests are responsible for any damage caused by themselves or members of their party.
6.4 The property must be left in a reasonably clean and tidy condition upon departure.
7. Pets
7.1 "Whilst we understand pets are an important part of many families, this caravan is not suitable for guest pets due to cleaning and maintenance. We therefore operate a no-pets policy for all bookings."
8. Smoking and Vaping
8.1 Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside the property, or on the surrounding decking area.
8.2 Evidence of smoking or vaping indoors may result in additional cleaning charges.
9. BBQ’s
9.1 To help ensure safety throughout the booked period for the guests and others on the park BBQ’s are not permitted at Gannel Rest.
10. Noise and Conduct
10.1 Guests must respect neighbouring properties and keep noise to a reasonable level at all times.
10.2 Parties, events, stag parties, hen parties or large gatherings are prohibited unless expressly authorised by the Owner.
10.3 Behaviour that causes nuisance, disturbance or danger may result in immediate termination of the booking without refund.
11. Vehicles and Parking
11.1 Vehicles are parked at the Guest's own risk.
11.2 Guests must use designated parking spaces only and comply with any parking restrictions.
12. Liability
12.1 Guests occupy and use the property entirely at their own risk.
12.2 Gannel Rest shall not be liable for any accident, injury, illness, loss, theft or damage sustained by guests during their stay, except where required by law.
12.3 Gannel Rest cannot accept responsibility for interruptions to services outside their control, including but not limited to power cuts, internet outages, severe weather, utility failures or acts of third parties.
13. Force Majeure
13.1 Gannel Rest shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from events beyond their reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, pandemics, government restrictions, strikes or utility failures.
14. Right of Access
14.1 Gannel Rest or their representative reserves the right to enter the property at reasonable times for inspection, maintenance, repairs or emergencies.
15. Complaints
15.1 Any complaints must be reported to Gannel Rest as soon as reasonably possible during the stay, allowing an opportunity for the issue to be resolved.
15.2 Complaints raised after departure may be difficult to investigate and may not be considered.

16. Lost Property
16.1 Any items left behind may be returned to the Guest upon request and at the Guest's expense.
16.2 Unclaimed items may be disposed of after a reasonable period.
17. Data Protection
17.1 Personal information collected during the booking process will only be used for the administration of the booking and in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
18. Governing Law
18.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
18.2 Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
